Course Outcome

Upon completion of eMathsMaster GCSE, teachers will have the confidence to teach engaging Maths lessons to their students. Pupils will have a renewed confidence in themselves and their ability to do Maths and perhaps begin to love the subject.

eMathsMaster aims to show Maths in use in real life examples, through over 700 animated videos and over 1,000 assessments, relating the curriculum to real life. This demonstrates how Maths is not a sterile abstract but has everyday applications which will help students to engage in the lessons.

eMathsMaster Primary Teacher Edition follows the Primary curriculum, enabling Primary school teachers to confidently deliver engaging and fun lessons to their students. Following the Shanghai Mastery methods, students will develop a love for Maths from an early age. Maths becomes an enjoyable subject and not a chore.

eMathsMaster GCSE Teacher Edition starts at Key Stage 2 level, and goes right through to Key Stage 4 and GCSE. Our Teacher Training Software is aimed at non-Maths specialists and teaching assistants who find themselves covering Maths lessons and lack confidence in their Maths abilities. Current teachers who are using the system are qualified to teach Biology, PE and Drama to name just a few. They need to cover Maths lessons as their school has a shortage in Maths specialists. eMathsMaster has given these teachers a new confidence in teaching Maths.

eMathsMaster Pupil edition also starts at KS2 and follows the same course as the Teacher Training system but without the Teacher Training elements so the content and teaching methods are consistent. The pupil edition can be used alongside the class lessons, or as a complementary addition for exam revision.

All three Maths Training Apps are modular. Each lesson has three parts: a short animated video lesson followed by an assessment to test the concepts of the lesson have been understood. Maths Questions are a typical Maths testwhich check the pupils ability to do the Maths. Teaching Techniques offers the teacher a deeper understanding of the topic and methods to use to teach the topic, ideas for exercises and how to challenge more gifted students. These are also followed by an assessment to check these teaching methods have been understood.

Each section must be mastered and the assessments passed to move to the next one.
