The complete eMathsMaster Hybrid Solution

When a school uses the complete maths education solution with eMathsMaster, both students and teachers will have their very own training programme to complete their learning journey to maths mastery. eMathsMaster offers a GCSE pass guarantee to students who complete all modules in eMathsMaster.

  1. Teacher completes eMathsMaster teacher training programme.
  2. Teacher plans lesson using eMathsMaster.
  3. Plays lesson film in class and takes students through the maths questions and assessments in class as a group, and teacher discusses answers with students.
  4. Teacher sets the class eMathsMaster homework. Students are asked to re-visit lessons covered in class and complete the maths questions and assessments by themselves at home as part of revision, to achieve personal learning growth. For example, if the teacher and students complete Step 4, Lessons 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5 together in class, students will complete these at home.
  5. Students will re-visit class topics as homework, but will also complete more of their own learning journey as they progress towards completing the learning programme, to become an eMathsMaster. The maths mastery method prevents students from skipping or moving on to new modules, ensuring students gain full understanding of the topic by mastering the current module. When a module is passed, the next one is unlocked for learning.
  6. Teacher's management tools track students' progress, one-on-one guidance or group sessions hosted by the teacher for topics that are not being mastered at home. Class reports can be created and individual student progress date is available to teachers.
  7. Teacher and students follow eMathsMaster scheme of work in class and at home.
  8. Teacher can create their own material using eMathsMaster course creator. This includes courses, maths questions and assessments, tests etc, these can then be assigned as homework or used in class.

POSITIVE TEACHER AND STUDENT OUTCOMES:

  • Helps teacher with lesson planning, reduces pressure on maths specialist as online training resource is available 24/7, reducing planning time and teacher workload.
  • Animated lesson films bring the maths to life and engage the class with the topic. A fun and engaging way to teach a topic. It is an interactive way to learn, as students answer maths questions as a group and discuss answers together with the teacher.
  • Students achieve personal learning growth and satisfaction from mastering maths. Mastery method ensures students understand each and every topic, even if they fall behind in class or are too shy to raise their hand.
  • Teacher can track students' individual progress to ensure every student is successfully progressing and confident in their understanding.
  • Student interest and engagement improves as students realise gains in learning.
  • Teachers' job satisfaction increases as impact is realised through student enjoyment, progress and achievement.
